Description
Modified citrus pectin is different from other pectin because of the way it is prepared. It is “modified” by rapid heat and pH changes occur, which reduces the molecular weight of the pectin molecule. This new substance has a binding affinity for mutated cells and may potentially inhibit their ability to attach to other parts of the body.
